Lexus has started offering a new model, the AWD (All-Wheel Drive), in all the standard variants. The only way to differentiate the AWD models is to observe the badge on the boot lid. It is interesting to note than the Lexus's wheelbase, at 113 inches, is longer than that of the Toyota Camry. 

On the Outside

The striking luxury look that was originally conceptualized in 2019 is still visible, and still makes the current ES 250 look unique. It gets the standard spindle grille at the front which gives an aggressive look. A lot of chrome can be seen all around. All Lexus ES models are available with bi-LED headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights. Premium triple beam headlights are available as an option. Overall, the 2021 ES 250 presents a very slick design from all sides. 

The vehicle's roofline is sloping and chrome has been nicely used around the windows. 18-inch wheels are optional.   

Under the Hood

The 2021 Lexus ES 250 gets a 2.5 liter, 4-cylinder engine with 203 hp of power and 184 lbs.-ft of torque. This engine has been mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The current engine is smoother and more refined than the V6 used on ES models so far. The car is able to deliver better fuel economy than before. 18-inch wheels are optional, and in terms of dimensions, the 2021 Lexus ES 250 AWD is almost 3 inches longer and 2 inches wider than the previous generation. The rear of the vehicle sports a wide and low stance. LED tail lights have been fitted on the ES 250 AWD. 

On the Inside

The interiors of the 2021 ES 250 AWD are lavish, though not as detailed as the LS model. It gets features such as:

The infotainment system is still controlled through the touchpad. Seats of the 2021 ES 250 AWD do not fold down. Rear AC vents and 2 USB ports are available for the second row of passengers. Legroom and headroom are pretty generous in this row. Door panels feel wonderful and the door handles look stunning.
