When we talk about luxury cars, Lexus and Acura are among the two most recognizable manufacturers. Safety 


When comparing seven Acura models for safety, the average score was 9.8 out of 10. RDX and RLX are the two models which managed to get perfect safety scores. Lexus models are not that far from Acura and have an average safety score of 9.5  Some of its top-scoring models include the GS luxury midsize car and RC luxury compact car. 


Fuel Economy 


When it comes to fuel economy, both the models stand at close positions. The average was calculated by assessing EPA numbers of 2018 lineups from both the brands. Lexus offers an average of 23.97 miles per gallon, whereas Acura offers 23.86 miles per gallon.  


Price 


Price is compared by assessing models from different lineups of both the brands that compete with each other. In four out of six cases, Acura has offered more affordable vehicles as compared to Lexus. Small sedan, midsize sedan, large sedan and 3-row SUV classes of Acura are all offered at more affordable prices.
