  • Great car!!

Very nice dependable car. Not a problem with it so far. Love the interior/exterior. It's a little noisy inside and not quite the smooth ride of the larger RX but the gas mileage is awesome (I have the hybrid). Easy to get in and out of tight spaces due to smaller size. Plenty of leg room for 4 adults.

My husband and I purchased this car as a Certified Pre-Owned. We previously had an RX 300 and sold it after 10 years to down size to a Mazda CX5 which I did love, but was so loud inside you couldn't carry on a normal conversation. LOVE the NX200t. The carrying capacity in the back is very small, you have to lay the back seats down to fit anything of size, like supplies from Lowes/Home Depot etc. The voice recognition is a pain to use, it often doesn't recognize simple plain speak, and the Nav system brightness never switches over to a night time mode, and stays very bright, despite the display brightness being all the way down. Other than these small, but kind of irritating items the car itself is FANTASTIC!!! It is the quietest car I have ever had the pleasure of being in. Even better than the RX 300 I previously owned! Responsive handling, good pick up, easy maneuvering and fun to drive. I have been getting about 25.5 mpg so far on the eco mode in the city. This car had all the bells and whistles at a really good price. I'm tickled to death with this car, and would recommend it hands down!!! Lexus truly has the "luxury" part of a luxury vehicle down pat!!!
  • Overall Great Crossover-with some small oversights

Have owned my NX F-Sport for 6 months now - here are my thoughts. Despite the F-Sport guise, this is not a 'drivers car' - even if Sport mode - you never forget you're in an SUV. As expected, Lexus build quality and reliability is ever present; ride quality is sublime and always hushed. The LED headlight option is pricey, but the lights are amazingly good. The interior design is snug and very attractive - ergonomics are quite good. Those with larger frames may find the sport seats a bit tight. Back seat is quite roomy. On the downside: Despite it being a $1100 option, the LED headlights do not have the auto high beam function like the standard headlights - why?? The driving mode selector always defaults to normal - so if you choose Sport or Eco, you have to do so each time you start up the vehicle. There is no auto sensing wiper feature. The computer controlling the radar cruise control is surprisingly laggy - the one I had in my Mazda was much snappier to respond. The Lane Departure Warning only has the light in the mirrors - there is no option for an audible tone. The Enform systems' touch pad is a challenge - I've tried to embrace it, but after 6 months, I can say it was a poor choice by Lexus. The voice command option for the Nav system is useless - it barely recognizes anything I say. The Enform Remote Connect is a very nice feature - but it takes a very very long time to communicate with the vehicle. And apparently if you buy this model in Canada you can get a heads-up display option - but its not available in the US - a disappointment. Overall very pleased with the vehicle, but some of these shortcomings were a bit annoying for a vehicle that was a hair under $50K.
